1. The Kaduna State Urban Planning and Development Authority (KASUPDA) wishes to inform the general public, relevant stakeholders, and residents that the ongoning demolition exercise currently taking place at the YMCA Police Barracks is not being conducted by, nor under the authority of, KASUPDA.

2. The Authority has noted with concern reports and public speculation linking the exercise to KASUPDA and the State Government. We wish to categorically state that KASUPDA has neither authorized, supervised, nor participated in the said demolition activity.

3. As the statutory agency responsible for urban planning control, development regulation, and enforcement within the state, KASUPDA remains committed to carrying out its duties strictly in accordance with established laws, regulations, and due process.

4. Members of the public are therefore advised to disregard any misinformation suggesting the Authority's involvement in this exercise. Any official enforcement or demolition action undertaken by KASUPDA is always communicated through proper channels and in line with legal procedures.

5. The Kaduna State Government, under the able leadership of His Excellency, Senator Uba Sani, remains dedicated to justice, accountability, and the welfare of its people.

6. We urge residents and all concerned parties to seek clarification only from official KASUPDA communication platforms and authorized representatives.
